Ezel Sells to over 30 Countries

Ezel – the highly successful drama series produced by Ay Yapim currently airing on ATV in Turkey is continuing the success tour. Ezel won the C21 Format Awards at Mipcom for best scripted format in strong competition at Mipcom 2010. The original production from Turkey has been licensed to broadcasters in over 30 territories the last months including broadcasters in Greece (Antena), the Middle East (ADTV), Bulgaria, Romania (Kanal D), Croatia (RTL), Serbia (Fox), Slovenia and Macedonia. An additional 5-10 countries are expected to sign up during the coming months. Ezel is a drama series about a young man returning from military service. He ends up in prison after being set up by his best friends and fiancé. In prison, he fakes his own death and returns as Ezel. The series is by far the most awarded Turkish drama series in 2010 and is continuing to deliver very high ratings on the second series that airs now in the fall of 2010.
